Terms of Service

3.1 File Retention

We maintain a zero file retention policy. All uploaded files are processed and immediately deleted from our systems after processing is complete. We do not store, archive, or retain copies of your original files.

3.2 Extracted Data Storage

By default, structured data extracted from your files is stored in our database to enable Service functionality, including retrieval, analysis, and historical access. You may opt out of this storage at any time through your account settings or by explicit request during upload.

3.3 Metadata and Analytics

We collect and store metadata about file processing for analytics, service improvement, and operational purposes. If you opt out of extracted data storage, we will redact all personally identifiable information (PII) from metadata before storage. This metadata may include: file type, processing time, file size, error logs, and usage patterns.

3.4 Data Security

While we implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data during processing and storage, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge that transmission and storage of data over the internet carries inherent risks.

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring you have the right to upload and process all files submitted to the Service
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding data processing
• Maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
• Any data you choose to store or process through the Service
• Backing up any critical data before processing
• Ensuring your use of extracted data complies with applicable privacy laws

You may not:

• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Process data you do not have rights to process
• Use the Service to violate any laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

6.1 No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

6.2 Limitation of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, WHETHER IN AN ACTION IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE SERVICE.

6.3 Data Loss

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, CORRUPTION, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR DATA, WHETHER STORED OR IN TRANSIT. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING BACKUPS OF ANY CRITICAL DATA.

6.4 Processing Accuracy

We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or quality of data extracted or structured by the Service. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all processed data before use.

6.5 Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

8.1 Service Ownership

The Service, including all software, algorithms, designs, and documentation, is owned by Raptor Data and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights to the Service.

8.2 Your Data

You retain all ownership rights to your original files and extracted data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and analyze your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service and improving our operations.

9.1 Beta Status

The Service is currently in beta testing. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without notice or liability.

9.2 Maintenance

We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that temporarily interrupts Service availability. We will attempt to provide advance notice when possible but are not obligated to do so.

10.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, we will delete your extracted data within thirty (30) days, unless you request immediate deletion or we are required to retain it by law.

10.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Raptor Data is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14.2 Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except as otherwise required by applicable law.

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Raptor Data regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
